Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in Advance

Been a minute friends…How have you been? Well I’ve slowly but surely packed and relocated my things ahead to my new home. However I’m currently visiting family in another city and will be traveling to go spend Christmas with my In-laws before heading home. What are your plans for the festivities?

On the quilting scene, I’m all packed up for the year but I did travel with my sewing machine and was able to make some gift items ?. I’m so excited about the year ahead and hoping we’ll have so much quilty fun!

I can at least look forward to completing some UFOs from this year and I can’t wait to see what you all have planned for next year. Remember that latest work in progress from the last post? I did make progress on that and it’s now “pecolating” until I decide whether to quilt as is or make it bigger. Here is the current status

I believe the wrinkles will quilt out when I eventually quilt this

And a little something from the left over

And some projects ideas I indulged in but abandoned this year…

On that note, I wish you all best for the coming year and have a wonderful holiday. I look forward to hearing about your holiday adventures and everything in between. Cheers!

Thanks a lot Tierney…I love making the pillows too. Unfortunately I won’t have a nice enough space but I’m sure I’ll improvise while we look for a bigger place ? Have a lovely year ahead.

  4. Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to you too, Sola! Love all the bright colors you like to use. Those pillows are great! Do you call them cushions like they do in the UK? 😀
